- 200 g (7 oz) spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 180 g (6 oz) smoked salmon, diced
- 150 ml (5 fl oz) crème fraîche or double cream (What is crème fraiche?)
- 80 g (2.8 oz) frozen peas, thawed
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, plus extra to serve
- Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the packet.
2. Heat oil, in a large frying pan, over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring, until softened; about 5 minutes.
3. Reduce heat to low. Add the smoked salmon and cook until the salmon is cooked through; about 3 minutes.
4. Add the crème fraîche or cream and stir until combined. Simmer until mixture thickens; about 5 minutes.
5. Add the peas, parsley, season to taste with salt and black pepper, then set aside until ready to serve.
6. Drain the spaghetti and add it to the pan with the smoked salmon and pea mixture. Toss to combine and simmer for about 3 minutes to heat through.
7. Serve the creamy smoked salmon and pea spaghetti in warm bowls, garnished with extra parsley if desired.

2. Add the diced tomatoes and season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Simmer until the mixture thickens; about 10 minutes.
3. Add the heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens; about 5 minutes.
4. Add the cheeses and stir until melted. Simmer until the cheese is melted and the sauce is thickened; about 5 minutes.
5. Add the penne pasta to the skillet and stir to combine. Simmer until the pasta is heated through; about 3 minutes.
6. Serve the cheese cream pasta in warm bowls, garnished with chopped fresh basil if desired.
