Today I have a simple and delicious recipe for you to try out—easy Garlic Bacon Pasta. This dish is incredibly flavorful and comes together quickly, meaning you don't have to spend hours in the kitchen. Plus, it's the perfect comfort food for those cold winter nights.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 scallions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3-4 slices of bacon, diced
- 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley
- 1 pound of pasta (I used fettuccine)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add scallions, garlic, and bacon. Cook, stirring occasionally, until bacon is crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add parsley and cook for another minute.
- Add pasta to boiling water and cook according to package instructions.
- Once pasta is cooked, drain and add to skillet with bacon mixture. Toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Serve with extra Parmesan cheese on top, if desired. Enjoy!
