Who doesn't love a delicious plate of Bacon and Mushroom Pasta? This gluten-free dish is the perfect way to satisfy both the cravings of your tummy and taste buds, with a creamy garlic sauce to top it off!
Ingredients
For the pasta:
- 300g penne pasta
- 200g bacon strips, diced
- 110g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter and olive oil. Add bacon and onion and cook until bacon is crisp. Add mushrooms and garlic and cook until mushrooms are tender (about 5 minutes). Add cooked pasta, cream, and parmesan cheese. Cook until heated through.
3. To make the creamy garlic sauce: Heat a small saucepan over medium heat and add olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until garlic is fragrant. Add cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
4. To serve, divide pasta among plates. Drizzle with creamy garlic sauce and enjoy!
