- 1 small white onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, any color, chopped

- 1/2 cup dry white wine

- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
- Kosher salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 8 ounces button mushrooms, sliced
