- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup basil, chopped
- 8 ounces linguine
- 1/2 lb bacon (thick cut

Begin by heating up a large pot of salted water for your pasta. In the meantime, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in your minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper and cook for 1-2 minutes. Toss in your canned tomatoes with their juices, and white wine. Simmer the mixture for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Now add in your heavy cream followed by your basil, and cook the sauce for 5 more minutes. Once your sauce is nice and creamy, reduce the heat to low while you get your pasta ready.
Check the pot of boiling water you had set aside and add your linguine. Cook it at a rolling boil until it's al dente, about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the pasta is done, drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, you can also cook up the bacon in a separate skillet or pan. Once it's crisp and cooked through, add the bacon to the sauce and stir to combine. Now, add the drained pasta to the skillet with the creamy tomato bacon sauce and coat. Let everything simmer together for 3-5 minutes. Serve up your creamy pasta with a sprinkle of fresh basil and garlic, and enjoy!
