Spaghetti with Carbonara Sauce
Carbonara is a classic Italian dish. It consists of spaghetti pasta and a sauce made with bacon, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. The incredible blend of flavors all blend together perfectly, telling a unique story with every bite.
- 225g spaghetti
- 4tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 150g bacon, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 2tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped finely for garnish
Start by bringing a pot of salted water to the boil and adding the spaghetti.
In a pan, heat the olive oil and add in the garlic. Once it starts to sizzle, add in the bacon and fry for 5-6 minutes or until cooked. While the bacon is cooking, combine the eggs and Parmesan cheese in a bowl.
Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add it to the pan with the bacon and garlic. Stir the pasta and ingredients together. Then lower the heat and add in the egg and Parmesan mixture. Stir everything together vigorously until the egg starts to scramble and coat the spaghetti.
Finally, season to taste with salt and pepper, and add the fresh parsley.
Pasta with Tomato and Bacon
This amazing combination of spaghetti pasta, fresh tomato and bacon is a classic Italian dish which will delight your taste buds! The juicy tomatoes combined with the salty bacon makes for a delightful and delicious taste.
