Cheesy Baked Pasta with Crème Fraîche
This simple and delicious dish will have your family coming back for seconds! Here’s what you need to make it:
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- ¾ cup of chopped onion
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can of diced tomatoes with their liquid
- 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 pound of uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1/2 cup of crème fraîche
- 2 ½ cups of mozzarella cheese, divided
- ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish

This creamy and fishy Salmon Crème Fraîche Pasta is the perfect addition to any dinner plate. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of chopped red onion
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 (14.5.) can of diced tomatoes with their liquid
- 2 tablespoons of chopped capers
- ½ teaspoon of sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ pound of uncooked bowtie pasta
- 1 (7 ounce) can of salmon, drained
- 2 cups of crème fraîche
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Start by heating the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 3 minutes, or until softened. Add the oregano, tomatoes and their liquid and capers, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened. Add the sugar and cook for 1 minute more.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package directions. Once cooked, drain and place in a large bowl.
Add the tomato mixture to the pasta and stir in the salmon, crème fraîche and parsley. Divide the pasta among the plates and top with the Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!
